WE up and running again:

August 2021

Been great to be up and running again and for the last two weekend we have been gigging again, after a long lock down.

We must thank the people who have helped arrange these gigs. For me the best was at the Jam Jar in Bristol, supporting the amazing Culture Shock (who wouldnt want to support them) To the organizers, friends who help to put on such a wonderful night .THANK YOU!!!

Was great to see so many people dancing again. Together....

WE also had the sad but honourble pleasure of playing for the friends of Scottie as they said good bye to that lovely man.  He sadly died and we were pleased to fullfill an request to play at his funural (well the get together after.). Love and thanks to you Emily.

Thanking Culture Shock and all the lovely people who made Saturday night so much fun. The Gig in Bath was fun and it was nice to meet some new people. (August 31st 2019)

We have had some amazing gigs over the last month or so (May/June)  Including Horsedrawn Beltain bash, Hedge-u-cation, Bearded theroy (read review here) last but not least The Convoy Cabaret Naughty Corner Weekender .  We had a great time at each and everyone. Thanks everyone who works so hard to bring these festivals on. AMAZING TIME

You might be amazed to hear we have mech, Yes thats right taken nearly 30 years but we do have teeshirts, and other things following close behind. At the moment you are unable to purchase from our site here. (give us time we will get to it sorted) however contact us and we can give you info. We get picture up of teeshirts sizes and colour soon

With sadness we have to say goodbye to our great bass player for the last 3 years louis.  Who has moved on to other quests.  He will be missed but we all wish him well in his new adventure.  We start 2019 with the return of a original band member.  Welcome back dion on bass.  He has been missing for about 5 years and we are all happy to see him return

Thanks to outer site pictures for some great picture.

Thanks to everyone at the horsedrawn, Beltain bash.

Had a great time at Boomtown, thanks all who came to  see us.

Just finished our May tour and would like to thank everyone who made it such a great time. People from the Horse drawn & Surplus fest special thanks. Not so busy now until September but Skunkfest & boomtown awaits.

Once again an amazing Horse Drawn Beltain bash, Thanks Everyone.

Just back and now looking forwaed to Bearded Theory.

We are keeping are gigs to only a small amount this year. We have needed to bring Dion back (an original DTE memebr) Due to the need of Louis to do other stuff for at least some of this year if not longer. Sure we not seen the last of him.

We have been busy with some Great gig, supporting African head charge, was fun, and Hedge-ucation was a fun filled festival. Thanks for all the love.  Lynn slowely getting back his health but after saying that he did have a little pneumonia and sepsis a couple of weeks ago.  Burton dub clubs festival 14th july next gig, got wedding to play at the same day so we are on early to give us time to travel to next gig.

Hi, first off, I would like to thank everyone for the love and support.   After being diagnosed with bowel cancer at the beginning of the year, under taking a large operation and 12 weeks on the Rick Simpson oil. I am now getting back behind the drum kit.  First outing will be a Surplus fest (1st July) I apologise to the venues and festivals we had to cancel at the beginning of the year, and thank them all for their understanding and support.  We are now looking forward to the future and all the lovely festivals we have to look forward to, including not only Surplus fest, Boomtown, feral fest, Illusive and Equinox but a couple other (watch this space).  So we are back!! Let the good times roll.

Must send out love and thanks to all involved with the horsedrawn Beltane Bash, this year as well as every other year we played at this festival. If you not been to one look out next year, best little featival and a great way to start the summer.

4 years ago today (1st April), Steve Swann passed away. We lost a great singer, a great bass player, a great song writer and a great friend. He lives on in his music, which comes in many forms, from Dub the Earth, RDF, The revolutionary dub warriors, kaya cooperative, revolutionaries,   the Seventh sense, Head games or even the brief time with Chocolate teapot as well as his solo recordings.  All a part of our history we have shared with him. We still miss you loads Steve.

CRISPIAN BAKER R.I.P. Shocked & saddened to hear the sad news about lovely Crispian... A really top man, who when I think about it, was the main reason for me having such a fantastic time at the last few Alchemy Festivals with Dub The Earth & RDF. Blessings to you mate for being so helpful, fun, enthusiastic, easy going & irie..many dedications to your life & spirit.. May your soul soar brother... Dan X(Feb 2015

This is an old poster while we were supporting the Magic mushroom band think it was 89 but would not  put money on that

We are working on putting together a collection of previouse recordings. This will be called the history collection: Most of the master to these were stollen from us back in the mid 1990.  so we are left remastering cassette tape copies. However if not the greatist of qualities some of this music is far to good to be lost. For those who have followed the band for years, hearing the 1990 Newbury Collage gig again or reliving the old 'Cry out' Cassette  for the first time on CD might be a small pleasure.
